Writing poems from 1960,poems published in all top journals Since last 50 years,written and produced a number of plays, Features & musical features. Shamim Farooqui is a known broadcaster of A.I.R., He Started one hour daily Urdu programme from A.I.R. Patna In the year 1976,which became very popular. Shamim received a number of awards from academies and various organization. Shamim Ghazal collection " Zaiqa mere lahoo ka '' was published long ago. He attended a number of National, International Mushairas and symposium.
