Kalyanbigha (Nalanda): The CM offered floral tributes on the bust of his mother Parmeshwari Devi on her third death anniversary at Ramlakhan Singh Vatika and also garlanded the busts of his father the late Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh and wife Manju Devi, whose busts are also located at the same vatika.

 After an ITI, a shooting range, a dispensary, a model 10 plus two school, a power sub-station and a road link from his village to Harnaut railway station, CM Nitish Kumar announced a new building for the shooting range with modern equipment and other facilities to be constructed in April at his native village Kalyanbigha in Nalanda on the third death anniversary of his mother the late Parmeshwari Devi on Wednesday.

During the inspection of shooting range, which was opened at his initiative in 2006, after a long gap, the CM saw its development. Overwhelmed by the achievements of the students, who in the past achieved several milestones by winning various state and national-level championships with limited resources, the CM assured that a new building with requisite facilities would replace the existing one in April and instructed DM Palka Sahni to prepare a DPR for the same. The CM also offered prayers at the local temple and interacted with his co-villagers at his ancestral house before leaving for Patna.

CM's brother Satish Kumar, MP RCP Singh, his principal secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, JD(U) chief whip in the state assembly Sharwan Kumar, Nalanda DM Palka Sahni, officials from district administration and a host of party leaders were also present on the occasion.
