Danish Ahmad Khan is a journalist based at New Delhi. He worked with IANS (Indo-Asian News Service) as Chief Sub Editor. Earlier, he worked as Assistant Editor for Noida-based egov (The e-Government magazine for Asia and the Middle East). He worked as News Editor for New Delhi-based The Milli Gazette. He also worked with the Patna-based The Times Of India as Press Correspondent. Before joining The Times of India, he worked as Copy Editor for Career Edition and Science Edition of Patna-based The Qaumi Tanzeem (Urdu Daily). He launched the weekly Career Edition and introduced English simultaneously with Urdu for the first time in the history of Daily Urdu Newspapers in India. Besides, he also worked for fortnightlies, trade publications, ezines etc. He is also passionately involved with The Gaya Muslim Orphanage in Bihar (http://www.gmogaya.com). This institution was founded by his paternal grandfather Enayeth Khan in October 1917. He is a social activist and keeps a keen watch on the happenings in the Indian Muslim community and raises his voice through writings and other platforms.
