Jafar Askari  was born at Lucknow on June 20, 1945. He did his PhD on “Josh Malihabadi bahaisiyat nasr nigar” from Lucknow University in 1988. He retired as lecturer from Shia Post Graduate College in 2007. Jafar Askar is penning high class Urdu poetry for the last 40 years. His collection of poetry will be published soon.
