Lutfa Hanum Salima Begum, born 1962, has four collections of poetry to her credit. Her poems have been translated into other languages also, Hindi, Nepali, Bengali, Kannada, etc. Recipient of ‘Munin Borkotoki Award’ in 1996, she teaches Assamese literature in Cotton College, Guwahati.
