'Zafar Qabil Ajmeri' is a Pakistani Urdu, author and journalist social activist, prominent columnist and media representative.
Zafar Qabil Ajmeri was born October 3, 1961, as Roshan Zameer in Hyderabad Sindh, Pakistan. His father was Qabil Ajmeri,and his mother was Nargis Qabil Ajmeri. He received his early education in Hyderabad, Quetta and Sukkur.Zafar Qabil was orphaned at age one; his father Qabil Ajmeri died of tuberculosis.
Zafar Qabil Ajmeri began writing at an early age, and become famous in his locality for his author and journalist by age 18.
After migrating to Hyderabad Sindh,1981, he became popular, and was recognized as a "senior" author and journalist of Urdu at the age of 21, along with other veterans of Hyderabad.
Zafar Qabil is a political activist, social worker, author, researcher and journalist, Zafar Qabil has to his credit of publishing more than 200 articles & columns in several local, regional and national newspapers in multiple languages (including English, Urdu and Sindhi),and has the honor of being one of the youngest columnists of Asia. His role for the promotion of free press and media will always be remembered for the years to come. He published compilations of Urdu poetry and a volume on philosophy, he has compiled three books.
