Zubair Rizvi is one of the finest modern Urdu poets of India.  He was associated with All India Radio for 30 years and has tried his hand at almost all genres of Urdu poetry. He is the editor of the acclaimed Urdu magazine, 'Zehn-e-Jadid' which contains  articles on modern Urdu poetry and fiction, besides film, theatre, music, dance, fine arts and contemporary socio-political topics of relevance.
