| Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid receives Citigroups CEO |  | | UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has received this afternoon at the Executive Office Mr. Michael Corbat, Citigroup’s CEO. Sheikh Mohammed discussed with Corbat number of financial issues and international investment opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Citigroup’s Board that will hold its meeting in Dubai. It is the first time for Citigroup to hold its board meeting in the Middle East and the second time outside New York. During the meeting, His Highness asserted that has always welcomed its visitors and opened its doors for global investment companies and businessmen seeking safe investment environment and distinguished logistic services.
From his side, Michael Corbat and members of Citigroup’s Board expressed their happiness to hold their meeting in Dubai. Corbat thanked Sheikh Mohammed for the facilities provided for his company’s branches in the UAE.
The meeting was attended by President of the Department of Civil Aviation and CEO and Chairman of Emirates Group Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Director General of His Highness the Ruler’s Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Protocol Department Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and a number of Citigroup senior executives.
