| Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid receives Malaysian Prime Minister Mohammed Najib |  | | UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received this evening the Malaysian Prime Minister Mohammed Najib at Madinat Jumeirah.
The two officials discussed issues pertaining regional and international stability and ways to achieve sustainable development in the Islamic nation. They also discussed the significance of the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF), which will convene in Dubai from 28-30 October 2014.
Present at the meeting was Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The Malaysian prime minister expressed his happiness for participating in the forum on top of a high-profile Malaysian delegation, and praised the positive role of the UAE, in general, and Dubai, in particular, in building the global Islamic economy. He also lauded Sheikh Mohammed's vision of making Dubai the 'Capital of Islamic Economy'.
Present at the meeting were Minister for Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hamad Bumim, Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE Ahmed Anwar bin Adnan and the delegation accompanying the Malaysian prime minister.
