| Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid tours Dubai World Hospitality Championship |  | | UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has made a tour of the 2nd edition of Dubai World Hospitality Championship (DWHC).
Sheikh Mohammed toured the Championship venue held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) accompanied by Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and General Manager of Zaabeel Palace Hospitality and President of Dubai World Hospitality Championship Ahmed bin Hareb Al Falahi.
The three-day event that features a number of competitions designed to highlight the cuisine, heritage and culture of the UAE, saw more than 2600 competitors from inside and outside the UAE taking part in the event.
Sheikh Mohammed was briefed about the competitions hosted by the DWHC that include the international, Gulf Competition Product, Gulf Exhibition, Emirati Competition and Hospitality Sector, which are attracting skilled professional chefs.
Concluding the tour, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed commended the championship which witnessed a very good turnout of professional chefs and people. Sheikh Mohammed noted that the championship reflects UAE’s culinary and hospitality culture which is a source of our honor and pride. Sheikh Mohammed praised the organizers of the event and wished them all success.
