Born on 5-10-1957 at Rohri District Sukkur. Graduated from Rohri. M.A
International Relations from University of Sindh, Jamshoro and LL.B. from Karachi
University. Have inborn aptitude for Social Work. Committed and devoted
Volunteer. Joined Lyari Community Development Project (LCDP) in 1988, a
demonstrative social welfare Project established in 1954, to serve and develop
people of Lyari and unanimously elevated as its President in 1997 to date. Under
his highly spirited leadership LCDP achieved extensive progress of its multifarious
social welfare and developmental services. For his outstanding achievements in the
field of Reproductive Health he received the “ Best Performance Award” 2004 from
the Ministry of Population Welfare, Govt: of Pakistan. He also elected Member from
Sindh for Board of Directors, National Trust for Population Welfare, Islamabad
Joined Tanzeem Sehat Samaj Sudhar (TSSS), Gadap Karachi in 1990. Unanimously
elevated to the post of Vice President of the Tanzeem in July 1997 to 2007. A well
known organization working in rural area of Karachi in the field of Health,
Education, Income Generating schemes and Water & sanitation. Till to-date
devotedly trying to bring positive change in urban and rural communities alike.
Formed Falah Welfare Trust in 2004 and established Zaib-un- Nisa Memorial
Hospital and Maternity Home first of its kind for the people of coastal rural area of
Kemari town, Karachi. Organized dozens of Collective Marriages, General Medical,
Eye and Circumcision camps besides Installation of Hand Pumps and Income
Generating schemes for the people of rural area of Karachi.
One of the Pioneer Member of Women Development Foundation Pakistan
established in 1994 working in the area of Health , Education , RHS and income
generating programs. In charge presently established 75 non formal education
centers in Lyari, Gadap, Memon Goth and Rehri village Karachi.
Versatile and thought provoking Sindhi writer and innovative journalist. Pioneer
member of the group who established “Sindh Press International” (SPI) Karachi
(First Sindhi News Agency) in 2002 and had been first Executive Editor of the same
and also worked as Executive Editor, Daily “PAK” Karachi from 2002 to 2004. Wrote
regularly an article published in Sindhi Daily “AWAMI AWAZ” Karachi captioned as
“SANGAT” from 1991 TO 1995. Unhesitatingly scribed on the delicate problems and
unfolded inner stories of the NGO’s in very interesting but touchy manner.
These columns have been published in book from titled “Rind Parorian Raz”
translated by the author as “Processing knowledge of God and his kingdom”. Urdu
version of this book is also available. Another book on the essays and editorials he
wrote on various aspects of development and the role of NGOs were compiled and
published under the name “NGOs Revolution”.
Convener Organizing Committee for International Volunteers Day since 1998.
Celebrating the Day consecutively for the last 5 years with fervor in harmony with
United Nations deliration and awarding Shields to Veteran Volunteers in recognition
of their selfless services to the humanity. Editor of “Who’s Who of Volunteer’s in
Sindh’, annually publication on the occasion of International Volunteers Day,
December,05 since 1998.
Convener Dialogue for Development Forum (DDF) an alliance of Karachi based
NGOs working in different fields since 1994. Member and associated with many
local ,Provincial and National Civil Society Organizations.
