Dr. Mehboob Rahi , well known personality in urdu literature came in contact with me on lounching ceremony of my brother’s Dr.Amin Inamdar’s book at Arts and Commerce College , Yeoda.On contact with him I was very much impressed by his simple , broad minded and open hearted personality. He is not only a great Ghazals poet but also expert in many other fields of literature like , Nazm, Hamd-o-munajat , Nat-e-Pak , Rubaiyat, Tanz-o-mizah, child literature etc. He is also an expert prose wrtiter . His well studied , masterly, analytical criticsm and indepth research is very much admired in high profile litrary circle and is praised worthy.
On condensing Rahi’s Shayari (Poetry) the salient features which come out are straight forwardness , fluency, simplicity, verstality, natural touch and variety of topics.
Even though well thought and vast writing skill touching all the fields like classic , Ronmantic , comtemprary , personal pains and current topics blinds one eyes , fascinates the readers and cuddle all the feelings , senses and emotions . His heart touching “ Shayeri” fascinates and motivates and bring freshmess to the readers.
