Dr. Syeda Imrana Nashtar Khairabadi belongs to  the renouned family of Allama Fazle-Haq Khairabadi. She is the grand daughter of  Hazrat Muztar Khairabadi and daughter of Hazrat Nashtar Khairabadi. She received her Masters Degrees in Hindi and linguistics and Ph.D. degree in linguistics from Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh. As a Lecturer and Reader she worked in the  Department of Linguistics & Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh for 12 years. Now she is post-doc scholar in Emory University Atlanta Georgia. She participated and presented her ghazals and nazms in various national and international mushairas in India and  in Atlanta GA. H r poems in Urdu have been published  in Urdu Times NY. She also writes poems in English and her poems got  published in various anthologies by International Library of Poetry  MD,T he Natioal Library of Poetry MD, Poetry Guild OH, Famous Poets Institute OR, Eber & Wein Publishing PA. She participated and presented her English poems in international poetic convention held in Washington DC. She received honour and awards and certificates of Excellance for her English poems.She writes story also.Her story entitled “BROKEN HEART” read and appreciated  by American readers.
