Jabir Husain (born 5 June 1945, Rajgir), a politician from Rashtriya Janata Dal party, is presently a Member of the Parliament of India representing Bihar in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He is also a published writer. Husain was the recipient of the 2005 Sahitya Akademi Award in Urdu for his memoirs Ret per Khema
