Khalid Yusuf was a prominent UK-based Urdu poet and his works had been widely published in

literature. He was a regular performer at the annual Oxford University Pakistan Society Mushaira

until he passed away in October 2009. The Oxford University Pakistan Society dedicated the 2010

Mushaira to his memory.
