Khurshid Alam 

Khurshid Alam based in London is Chairman of Academy for Advanced Studies & Training

International (UK) and CEO of AOC International an innovative and unique company specialising in

Healthcare and Education & Training through strategic/joint venture partnership globally. Mr Alam has

been until recently a founder Commissioner of the Healthcare Commission and currently holds two

other ministerial appointments: Member of Employment Tribunal and Member of Mental Health

Tribunal. He is also Visiting Professor and International Advisor to a number of Institutions. After

graduating he served in the Armed Forces as Regular Commissioned Officer before completing MBA

from London. Mr Alam is a Fellow (FCIPD) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development He

has several years experience at senior levels in the field of Healthcare and Education, HR &

Organisational Development including the experience at international level in a variety of healthcare

settings bringing about improvements to access and the quality of services.
