Shaheen Nazar, Born: 15 Aug. 1961, at Gaya (Bihar) , has over 30 years of journalistic experience. He has been working with leading English newspapers such as The Times of India, Khaleej Times, Times of Oman, Saudi Gazette and Arab News. He has also been contributing to BBC's Urdu and Hindi Services from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Currently, Shaheen is Adjunct Faculty in the Mass Communication Department of Sharda University, Greater Noida. He writes political commentary in English, Urdu and Hindi and also writes short stories in Urdu. He has to his credit a collection of short stories (Sar Kate Log - Headless People) published from New Delhi in 2005. The stories in the book revolve mostly around the lives of Asian expatriate workers in Gulf countries.
Shaheen has studied in Gaya College and Aligarh Muslim University. He has done PG Diploma in Journalism and M.A. in Mass Communication.
