Talib Jauhari is a Pakistani Islamic scholar, religious leader, public speaker, Urdu poet and philosopher from the Shi'itesect of Islam who holds the position of Zakir-e-Sham-e-Ghariban (speaker of the evening of sorrow & ruined) on GEO TV in 2007 and on Pakistan Television for several years.
He has delivered speeches on Islamic themes particularly with the reference of the Ahl al-Bayt Household of Muhammad. He relates Islamic ideas with modern political and philosophical thought. His recent book on philosophy Aqliyat-e-Ma'asir is a work on the history and major themes of philosophy in Urdu.
Jauhari is the son of a Shia scholar Maulana Muhammad Mustafa Jauhar Sahib Qibla, he studied Islamic theology in Najaf, Iraq under Ayatullah al Uzma Sayyid Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei.
