Yatra will solve problems: Nitish

CM Nitish Kumar said that he has only one job to do and that is serving the 10.38 crore people of Bihar and develop the state with justice. He was addressing a public meeting at Pared Ground in Sheikhpura before concluding his two-day Seva Yatra

He said that through his yatra,
he listened to people and came to know about their problems.

The solution of their problems is also being found out in this exercise, the CM said. "Bihar is being discussed everywhere for good and people are surprised how a 'Bimaru' state has started developing. I tell them this credit goes to the people of the state," Nitish added.

The CM said that he wanted to meet everybody who came to meet him, but if he could not meet some of them they are free to meet him at Janata Durbar and justice would be done to them.

The CM also laid foundation of various schemes worth Rs 70.71 crore at
Sheikhpura and inaugurated projects worth Rs 38.48 crore.

Earlier, he held a review meeting with all the DMs and the SPs of Munger division which was also attended by HRD minister P K Shahi, housing minister Damodar Raut, Bhola Singh and Bhudeo Chaudhary, both MPs, Gajanand Shahi and Randhir Kumar Soni, both MLAs, development commissioner A K Sinha, ADG S K Bhardwaj, Vigilance commissioner A K Chauhan, HRD principal secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and health secretary Amarjit Sinha.

The CM directed the officials to go to the people and listen to their grievances and do whatever is desired as per the rules without coming under pressure of anybody. If a complaint is registered against any official, it should be probed by a senior official. "The officials caught in corruption cases will not be spared and they will have to explain from where they earned the money.

A close vigil is being kept on all the officials and the corrupt ones will be punished," the CM said.
