PATNA: In a letter addressed to CM Nitish Kumar on Monday, BJP Lok Sabha MP from Muzaffarpur Captain Jai Narayan Nishadrequested the chief minister to get a resolution passed by the legislative assembly seeking bifurcation of the state into north and south Bihar.
Nishad has reminded the CM of his statement supporting the resolution passed by the UP state assembly seeking division of UP into four parts. He said that Nitish has supported the move saying a state should have 100 assembly seats. Nishad said that Bihar should be divided into two parts, north Bihar and south Bihar, and added by doing so north Bihar would have 127 assembly seats, the capital of which should be Muzaffarpur.
