As Salam Alaikum.

It saddens us that the Muslim community in India lacks good leadership and the Muslim Ummah remains divided over things like sects, school of thought, minor issues, political associations, etc. Due to this lack of good leadership, we cast our votes to the various political parties without even understanding how they are going to benefit the Muslim Ummah. This causes our votes to be distributed among all the candidates with a variance of just +/-3%. Thus the candidates don't consider the Muslim votes as an important factor to their win/loss as it has very less impact, thereby not doing anything considerable for the Muslim community to attract their votes. For the same reason many don't even bother to cast their votes.

We have an idea that can help unite the Muslim communities in each town all over India for the upcoming general elections.

Below are the high level details:

1. For every MP constituency a emergency committee should be formed by the name election committee.

2. Each committee will comprise 8 to 10 members belonging to all sects and groups. 
 
3. The nominated individuals will be carefully selected from each area, making sure they are not associated with any Political parties.

4. These committee members will personally meet the major Masjid's management committee to get their opinion of the candidate they prefer and note down all the comments. After collecting the information the committee members will call a general meeting to decide the candidate with mutual discussion and try to set the consensus in a manner that  our Ummah vote for 1 right candidate.

5. The declaration of the consensus candidate should be made on the last Friday khutbah before the date of election.

6. The Committee will be dissolved immediately after the election, making sure that the purpose is  to unify our Ummah  and make a common impact on the election result.
 
Note :- Our Prophet (SAW) and Caliphs have used holy Masjid as the main source for spreading social and political awareness of common man and woman. Let us follow their path for uplift of our Ummah.

Please circulate this message to all MP Constituencies responsible individuals to take immediate action and spread awareness in our Ummah.

You & I owe this responsibility to our Ummah.

یہ نہایت افسوس کی بات ہے کے امت مسلمہ کی رہنمائی کے لئے آج ایک اچھے قائد کی کمی ہے. مسلم امت اپسی بنیادوں پر بٹی ہوئی ہے. کہیں فرقہ بندی تو کہیں مکتبہ فکر، کہیں معمولی اور غیر ضروری مسائل پر اور کہیں سیاسی فکر کی بنیاد وغیرہ پر. ایک رہنما نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے ہم اپنے قیمتی ووٹ کسی بھی سیاسی پارٹی کو دے دیتے ہیں، یہ سوچے سمجھے بغیر کے اس کے اثرات منفی ہونگے یا مثبت. اس سے امت مسلمہ کو فائدہ ہوگا یا نقصان. ہمارا قیمتی ووٹ %3-/+ کے فرق سے مختلف سیاسی پارٹیوں میں بٹ جاتا ہے. لہذا کوئی بھی پارٹی یا اس کا قائد ہمارے ووٹ کو اہم ہی نہیں سمجھتا اور یہ سوچتا ہے کی مسلم ووٹ ہماری ہار اور جیت کے لئے کوئی اہمیت ہی نہیں رکھتے.

اس سلسلے میں ایک رہنما فکر کو اپنانے کی ضرورت ہے. جو اس منتشر امت کو متحد کرنے میں معاون ثابت ہے. اور اگر ہم ایسا کر سکے تو ہر شہر، ہر صوبے، اور ملک میں ہم متحد ہو کر ووٹ ڈال سکیں گے.

1 . ہر ایک .P.M حلقے کے رہنے والے ایک ایمرجنسی کمیٹی تشکیل دیں اور اس کا نام " الیکشن کمیٹی " ہو .
2 . ہر کمیٹی 8 سے 10 ممبر والی ہو جو ہر فرقہ اور برادری پر مشتمل ہو .
3 . جو بھی اس کمیٹی کے ممبر ہوں وہ کسی بھی سیاسی جماعت سے منسلک نہ ہوں .
4 . کمیٹی ممبران ہر مسجد کے انتظامیہ سے مل کر ان کی راۓ معلوم کریں کے وہ کس امیدوار کو اپنا ووٹ دینا چاہتے ہیں ، پھر انکی راۓ کو لکھ لیں . اس کے بعد ایک عام میٹنگ بلائیں اور امت کے اجتماعی پسند کی بنیاد پر ایک امیدوار کا نام طے کریں اور پھر اس کو اپنا ووٹ دیں .
5 . اس امیدوار کے نام کا اعلان الیکشن سے پہلے والے خطبہ جمعہ میں کیا جائے .
6 . الیکشن ختم ہوتے ہی فوری طور پر بنائی گیئ کمیٹی کو ختم کر دیں . اس یقین کے ساتھ کی امت کو متحد کرنے کا نتیجہ مثبت ہوگا .

نوٹ: - ہمارے پیارے رسول صلي الله عليه وسلم اور خلفاۓ راشدین نے مسجد کو سیاسی اور سماجی مسائل کے حل کے لئے استعمال کیا ہے.
براہ کرم اس پیغام کو زیادہ لوگوں تک ہر حلقے میں پہچایں تا کے الیکشن سے پہلے امت بیدار ہو اور متحد ہو کر ووٹ ڈال سکے اور اچھے امیدوار کو منتخب کر سکے.
