Who would believe from the sky a sea could fall?

Left home indeed for his home, poured forth
Always from his goodwill smiles

Welcome Sultan, from a heart overflows
Yearning for affection as always was

For you a sky so high and glory so great
And in your shadow, oh Sheikh, shelters glory

Oh lanner, ever assailing
Your prey, if strikes, always slain

You, oh Bu Khalid, the hump of glory tamed
And from you learn chivalrous people

Oh brother of Zayed, with whom goes progress
Zayed, who is for Arabs the shield and sanctuary

He is the cure for the sick
The light that guides the blind

Oh Prince, the moon, which beauty cannot match
When seeing you, smiled
